The 40-Years On ! Reunion - Was on Sat, May 28th 2005

REUNION - FULL AGENDA DETAILS

Gentlemen and accompanying wives,

Saturday 28th May 2005

2:00pm - Arrive and Park opposite Tower Rugger Field
Meet up in Dining Area - Tea/Coffee in Machines
Photos on display - and being added to as we go.

3:00pm - Meet Headmaster & his wife Bob & Jo Barnes
tour the School in e.g., 4 groups of c.10 in each

5:00-5:30pm (Maybe: Form up in Quad - in Houses - like the old days)
Reconvene in dining area - for another cup of tea

6:00pm Overnight B&Bs check into Ruddle House. Allocate rest of beds.

At the same time
6:00pm Mount photos on display boards in the dining area.
The non-B&B's will be here until we leave for the DSI

6:30-7:00pm All walk to Devil Stone Inn (If very wet School will do minibuses)
Dress Code: Very casual and completely informal. Be comfortable.

MAIN EVENT - 7:30-8:00pm approx serve buffet at DSI - continue evening there

Late Night - All walk back to School - return to Ruddle House overnight

Sunday 29th (even more approximate times):-

8:45-9:30 Traditional Full English Cooked Breakfast in dining area
(where photos are still mounted)
Extended chatting over plentiful coffee and (extra paracetamol)

10:00am Clear up tables to trollies in dining area
Offer to help in and kitchens - with pleasure - Unlikely to need help

10:30am For those who wish to - walk / stagger The Triangle - one or two will run it.
Then maybe a casual footie kick about - Some will just be surfacing by now.

12-12:30pm Then an 'All Comers BBQ' - At Devil Stone Inn - Served at 1:00pm
Very casual BBQ - burgers+hot dogs+salad & a sweet/pud. Price: a few quid/head.

For all and any Old Shebbearians in the area and staff, current and past,
who care to join us - So we can include the local Old Shebbs who have
expressed that wish. Include wives/partners/significant others/offspring etc

3:00pm Maybe a mop-up School tour for one party of 10-15 who missed Saturday.
Depends on availability of someone to take the tour.

at same time
3:00-4:00pm - B&B Guests in Ruddle House strip beds
and clear up as pre-agreed in the pre-event briefing.

4:00pm De-mount photos from boards - scanning remaining pics - as possible

4:30pm Most depart - remaining few clear up, inc photo boards in dining area.

Evening for final few - TBA

11:00pm - or so - return to Ruddle House overnight

Monday 30th (approximate times):-

8:30-10:30 - Final few make some breakfast - either DIY in Ruddle House kitchenettes
(Catering Manager will provide cereals, bread/toast, milk, tea/coffee etc etc)
Clean up, make sure all laundry handled as required.

10:30am - Depart.
